Unfair Weights and Balances

Unfair weights and balances…

It is late… not just in time but in Spirit… in all that we do, we seek to be fair and just in dealings with others… there are times we do not meet those standards and it pains the Lord to see us fail at such a simple task… but He accepts us back when we realize our fault, our sin and seek forgiveness in the Blood of one far more worthy than we… Yeshua…

This night… awake… in tears… in pain… understanding some things I am sad to know and sadder yet for that which is coming for so many… I keep hearing in my spirit Proverbs 20:10 over and over and I see the bankers, the credit card merchants, and a list that goes on… from the smallest to largest…. For it is a sickness that has become the norm… and yes it is but one sin among many but you have to notice one word in proverbs… abominable… meaning repugnantly hateful; detestable; loathsome… go look up how many times the Lord uses this in His Word… you will find it 9 times… so here we have something that is a deep sickness in the land… deep rooted into the very fabric of all that is touched and done for they have made it so…

The next verse brings me to tears knowing it is spoken for so many… so many… Micah 6: 9-16

So where are those who took it upon themselves to teach and warn the sheep? Why do they not speak? The next verse is for them…. 2 Chronicles 36:14

You have to remember we called this nation to be under God and was founded using the ten commandments… The Lord takes these things beyond serious… for if He is to hold covenant with you… you must hold the covenant with Him… and so many times He has warned us through His servants the prophets yet they are scorned, ridiculed and just ignored… and so many are lost because they paid no heed to the voice of the Lord…

Proverbs 20:10

Differing weights and differing measures, Both of them are abominable to the LORD

Micah 6Complete Jewish Bible (CJB)

9 The voice of Adonai! He calls to the city —
and it is wisdom to fear your name —
“Listen to the rod and to him who commissioned it.
10 Are there still ill-gotten gains in the house of the wicked?
still the detestable short eifah-measure?
11 Should I declare innocent wicked scales
and a bag of fraudulent weights?
12 The rich men there are full of violence,
the inhabitants tell lies,
with tongues of deceit in their mouths.

13 “Therefore, I am starting to strike you down,
to destroy you because of your sins.
14 You will eat but not be satisfied,
with hunger gnawing inside you.
You will conceive but not give birth;
if you do give birth, I will give him to the sword.
15 You will sow but will not reap,
you will press olives but not rub yourself with oil,
likewise you will press grapes but not drink the wine.
16 For you keep the regulations of ‘Omri
and all the practices of the house of Ach’av,
modeling yourselves on their advice.
Therefore I will make you an object of horror,
the inhabitants of this city a cause for contempt;
you will suffer the insults aimed at my people.”

2 Chronicles 36:14

In addition, the chief cohanim (the priests) and the people grew increasingly unfaithful, following all the abominable practices of the other nations; and they polluted the house of Adonai, which he had consecrated in Yerushalayim.
