The spirit of Science Part 2: The Army of Fools

July 19, 2025

It has been 6 months since I last delivered God’s word by posting on this site. In January, I posted the first in a series of articles on what is hindering the Remnant Bride or Man-Child from the Third Day “greater works” revival that is about to pour forth on the Earth. If you read my last post, my statement makes more sense. This revival will come whether those in leadership who ought to repent actually repent or not. Others will step up and be faithful to answer the call in the place of those who reject the call. New apostles, prophets, and elders will be sent forth. However, understand the heart of the Father who desires all to repent. The wisdom and experience of those who will repent and who answer the call will be valuable to The Army of Fools that the Lord will gather from the highways and byways (Matthew 22:1-14) to walk in the Greater Glory Resurrection Power of the Third Day Revival.

When considering this 6-month gap in delivering His word, I am reminded that when God first sent me to share his word with the world on Dec. 26, 2002, I had completed the bulk of my first commission by May 27, 2003, the day that I anointed Times Square at the Lord’s command. That span of time was only 153 days long, and I am aware that this gap in silence has been longer than that. However, it took time to prepare me to deliver this word and to build up my understanding so that the word would be complete and ready to deliver.

On Tuesday March 4th of this year, the Holy Spirit told me to write down the notes that would become the outline of this revelation word. Either before or after that, the Lord gave me the title of this word: The Spirit of Science Part 2: The Army of Fools. In a vision I ate the scroll containing this revelation. This all occurred weeks or months ago yet the Lord held me back from delivering His word.

A few weeks ago, and I don’t remember exactly when, I had a dream where I found my notes in a dirty bathroom. They were soiled and stained with dirt and filth. I knew then why he held me back from delivering His word. My notes were incomplete. I had to fix them before I resumed the work.

I understand that reason now. The notes that I had written were not incorrect. They were things that the Lord had taught me and told me to share, and testimonies that I will share either for the first time or again with new insight and understanding. The problem was that I was excited to deliver what I saw as a “positive message”, one that focused on instructing the Body and building the faith of His people by sharing the encouraging testimonies and teachings I had received from Him. What was wrong was not the content, but the tone. In the weeks after my dream, the Lord revealed to me His anger at the disobedience of His people for refusing to repent of the sins that are holding them back from walking in the Greater Glory Resurrection Power of the Holy Spirit that will be made manifest on this day, The Third Day; the day of the fulfillment of the promise that we will do “greater works” by the power of the Holy Spirit because Jesus is going to the Father (John 14:12). Make no mistake, this revival will go forth, but he wants more of His people to participate in it, and that means that they have to repent and make themselves ready to be a part of this great move of God.

The Lord’s anger burns against those in leadership that refuse to repent at this hour. This includes those who know the times and seasons, but have hardened their hearts and chose to abide in the works of the Second Day; who have refused to answer the call end their practice of dead religious works; who have fallen into idol worship of the types and shadow ministries of the Second Day and are substituting religious works for the lampstands that have been taken away. The credentialism that I mention later on is emblematic of their sin, but does not encompass everything that they are doing wrong.

This second word is for those called to be a part of the Man-Child, the Remnant Bride. It is for the Brothers and Sisters of the Bride—those called to present her to Jesus without spot and blemish (2 Corinthians 11:2); to guard her before the Wedding Day of the Lord (Song of Solomon 8:8). It is a call to repentance. A call to examine your works and to lay down every sin that hinders you from standing upon the once desolate holy hill at the side of our Lord Jesus Christ—where you ought to be and where the Lord has called you to be.

The first post was a call to faith, and to repent of ingrained belief systems that are opposed to the Knowledge of God, and to believe wholeheartedly that God does not change. In doing so, we must cast down every vain imagination that deceives us into accepting any dilution of His word including conceding defeat to sickness, disease, and death in any form. Without faith in the Resurrection Power of the finished work of Jesus Christ on the Cross, how can we walk in that resurrection power? We cannot be double-minded. We must be single-minded in our faith and accept no compromises.

Hebrews 11:6 (ESV)

And without faith it is impossible to please him, for whoever would draw near to God must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who seek him.

We must therefore repent of the sins that this lack of faith causes us to commit. Condoning the killing, in secret, of “genetically defective fetuses” is just one sin, but it is emblematic of the kind of sin that is produced as a work of unbelief, or dead religion. It is also emblematic of how extreme or uncompromising our faith must be in the finished work of Jesus Christ on the Cross. We must stand united, uncompromising with doubt and fear and examine all of our ways to ensure that we are not allowing fear and unbelief to influence us.

That said, it is disobedience and sin which quenched the Spirit’s fire and led to the adoption of false beliefs such as the “cessation of miracles” doctrine that some Christians still cling to. We, who have been called out of Babylon, ought to know better, and we do, for the most part, but The Lord is perfect and holy, and we must examine ourselves to root out any beliefs and practices that grieve the Holy Spirit and are in opposition to His Truth. Religious spirits including the spirit of science, tempt us to rationalize why we don’t see the power of God manifest in greater measure. In the aforementioned example, those in control of that religious system and who reap the benefits of their power and authority within it, rationalized that miracles must have ceased, but the truth is simply that the Holy Spirit refuses to operate within their rebellious midst. If the idea occurred to them, by the conviction of the Holy Spirit, that rebellion and sin caused the cessation, they chose to ignore that conviction, and spread the lie of miracle cessation to maintain their power and control.

Yet there always will be and has always been a remnant that stands against the majority, and against the principalities and powers, to proclaim that Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today, and forever. We who have been called to come apart and be separate know and understand it, but may still be blind to how it applies today specifically. This revelation word will add some clarity and release understanding that will bless the foundations of the Third Day Church.

This revelation word continues the message of the last post but builds upon it to focus on the disobedience of the Church to the divine order that God has set. It starts with understanding the Army of Fools who are the true Firstborn Sons and Daughters of Glory otherwise known as the Man-Child, Remnant Bride, or Third Day Church. The Lord wants everyone to be a part of Third Day Church. For those who believe, He wants them to repent of the sins that prevent them from standing on that desolate hilltop with Him and to be united by His Holy Spirit in one glorious divine purpose: to spread the Gospel of Jesus Christ with great demonstrations of the Spirit’s power; to harvest as many souls as possible in these latter days by performing greater miracles never before seen, not even on the day of Pentecost.

The Army of Fools

Ecclesiastes 10:5-7 (ESV)

There is an evil that I have seen under the sun, as it were an error proceeding from the ruler: folly is set in many high places, and the rich sit in a low place. I have seen slaves on horses, and princes walking on the ground like slaves.

In the early 2000s, I shared a word that I received from the Lord that I recall may have been challenging to the faith of others. That word was this: “You may be a fool, but you’re my fool.” In fairness, I didn’t provide any context to help others to understand that word. It wasn’t yet the time, but now it is over 20 years later.

The Lord wasn’t call me a fool to insult me. I knew what He meant. He was not calling me a “fool who says in his heart there is no God.” The key to understanding his meaning is to understand that he’s calling me His fool, the fool that belongs to Him—that was chosen by Him. There is a reference to that in Bible.

1 Corinthians 1:26-29 (ESV)

26 For consider your calling, brothers: not many of you were wise according to worldly standards, not many were powerful, not many were of noble birth. 27 But God chose what is foolish in the world to shame the wise; God chose what is weak in the world to shame the strong; 28 God chose what is low and despised in the world, even things that are not, to bring to nothing things that are, 29 so that no human being might boast in the presence of God.

I am not wise according to worldly standards. I am not powerful, or of noble birth. I am one who is foolish and weak in the world and called by the Master to serve in order to shame the wise and strong. I am one that is low and despised in the world to bring to nothing things that are, so that none may boast. I am a fool not from the perspective of God, but from the perspective of the world. I say this not to boast, but because it is the truth, and it is the proper context to understand the prophetic word that I received.

When the Holy Spirit told me the title of this word, I knew that he would have me explain the correct prophetic frame of reference to interpret what the Army of Fools is. We, his faithful servants, are the Army of Fools handpicked to display his power and glory upon the earth so that no one may boast. This is so God alone may be glorified in the Son Jesus Christ, and through those of us who serve Him faithfully.

God’s perspective, and the world’s (the flesh and demons) perspective are polar opposites. What is wise to the world, is foolishness to God. What the world esteems is despised and rejected by God. The message that Jesus sent to the church in Laodicea in Revelations 3 illustrates this point.

Revelations 3:17-18 (ESV)

17 For you say, I am rich, I have prospered, and I need nothing, not realizing that you are wretched, pitiable, poor, blind, and naked. 18 I counsel you to buy from me gold refined by fire, so that you may be rich, and white garments so that you may clothe yourself and the shame of your nakedness may not be seen, and salve to anoint your eyes, so that you may see.

The Laodicean church had material prosperity, but were spiritually destitute. They were spiritually poor, but note that Jesus did not say that they had no gold. What He says is that they have no gold refined by Fire. They had not been purified and sanctified by the Refining Fire, the Holy Spirit. They lacked true riches, which are spiritual, and were spiritually naked, bereft of robes of righteousness, and blind, lacking spiritual sight to judge righteously by the Spirit of God.

The Laodiceans were spiritually blind and could only judge with natural eyes and what their natural ears hear. This symbolizes their lack of capacity for righteous judgement as illustrated in Isaiah 11. The Shoot, or Branch from the stump of Jesse, who is Jesus, will not judge by what His eyes see, but with righteousness by using spiritual insight that can’t be seen with natural eyesight.

Isaiah 11:1-5 (ESV)

1 There shall come forth a shoot from the stump of Jesse,
and a branch from his roots shall bear fruit.
And the Spirit of the Lord shall rest upon him,
the Spirit of wisdom and understanding,
the Spirit of counsel and might,
the Spirit of knowledge and the fear of the Lord.
And his delight shall be in the fear of the Lord.
He shall not judge by what his eyes see,
or decide disputes by what his ears hear,
but with righteousness he shall judge the poor,
    and decide with equity for the meek of the earth;
and he shall strike the earth with the rod of his mouth,
and with the breath of his lips he shall kill the wicked.
Righteousness shall be the belt of his waist,
and faithfulness the belt of his loins.

There is spiritual sight and natural sight. There is spiritual blindness and natural blindness. Those who are spiritually blind perceive those that judge by spiritual sight as blind. Likewise, those who have spiritual sight rightly perceive those who lack it is as spiritually blind. In the same way, those of us who are the foolish things of this world, are those who are wise from God’s perspective, and those who are wise in the eyes of the world, the Lord considers foolish.

Therefore, the Army of Fools are the poor of this world who were chosen to be rich in faith. We are the things that are not, to nullify the things that are so that no one may boast. Fools are how the world sees us, not how God sees us—for the most part, that is. Don’t get me wrong. The Army of Fools is also a direct reference to 1 Corinthians 1:25.

1 Corinthians 1:25 (ESV)

25 For the foolishness of God is wiser than men, and the weakness of God is stronger than men.

It’s God’s righteous boast that he can take a ragtag group of weaklings and misfits and still lead them to victory over the forces of evil that oppose Him. We are the foolishness of God, and the weakness of God that are stronger than the men of this world, whose reward is in this life (Psalm 17:14).

Revelations 3:8 (ESV)

“‘I know your works. Behold, I have set before you an open door, which no one is able to shut. I know that you have but little power, and yet you have kept my word and have not denied my name.

1 Corinthians 1:26-29 is a description of the Army of Fools.

Going back in time a little further in time to the very early church, we have the apostles in the Gospels and the book of Acts as a witness. Of the original 12 including Mathias, who replaced Judas, we know the occupations of 5 from the Logos. 4 of the 5 were fishermen. They were not scholars. Matthew was a tax collector, a despised profession at the time and not one that granted him a measure of esteem. For the most part, Jesus did not appoint the wise of the world, and the rich and powerful, to become His apostles.

There are exceptions, of course. Even Paul wrote that “not many” were wise, powerful, and noble according to worldly standards, but Paul, in fact, was. He was Roman citizen and a scholar, a Pharisee of Pharisees educated under Gamaliel, the great teacher of that age. Paul would be the equivalent today of an esteemed theologian with a doctorate from the most prestigious school of divinity. Someone who attended an Ivy league university, or Cambridge or Oxford, or any of the most elite institutions of the world. Yes, in the Army of Fools there are those who will have a background similar to Paul’s, but for the most part, the Apostles of the Third Day Church will lack credentials like the first fishermen that were called to be fishers of men. They will be men and woman plucked from the gutter, and other humble places, and raised up by Jesus to lead with mighty power. They will outnumber those with a background like Paul’s.

This is how you will know that you are among the remnant. There are no princes on foot and no slaves on horses. The Apostles and Prophets will include high school dropouts delivered from lives of crime and drug addition as well as those who are raised in a Spirit-filled homes and bestowed with every blessing and credential that the people of this world esteem. There will be no imitation of the dead works of worldly religious systems. No systems of credentials of man that substitute the commission of God. No gatekeeping of leadership by standards not set by God including formal educational attainment. Whoever the Holy Spirit appoints must fulfill their role. There is no other standard.

This is the second sin that the Lord called me to warn his remnant not to commit: the sin of credentialism. It is the sin of mimicking the false religious systems of men by requiring or creating credentials for ordination that the Holy Spirit has not commanded. It leads to the appointment of leaders who God has not sent, and the exclusion of leaders appointed by God. It is a method of satanic infiltration and control that separates the church from His true Body.

God does not change and the Third Day Church will not be tainted by compromise and dead religious practices. What grieves me is the knowledge that there are those called to serve who are choosing to make this compromise. This will result in two consequences. The first is that the Holy Spirit will not move in Greater Glory power through those who commit the sin of credentialism. He reserves that power for the temple built upon the sure foundation. The second consequence is that those who compromise with this sin will be cast out.

The Lord is rebuilding his house. This calls for wisdom. Jesus has pointed to Haggai chapter 2 as a type or shadow of what He is doing now. The glory of this present house will be greater than the former. The Holy Spirit has pointed me to Matthew 22’s Parable of the Wedding Feast to illustrate what is happening in that building process from another prophetic frame of reference.

Matthew 22:1-14 (ESV)

1And again Jesus spoke to them in parables, saying, “The kingdom of heaven may be compared to a king who gave a wedding feast for his son, and sent his servants[a] to call those who were invited to the wedding feast, but they would not come. Again he sent other servants, saying, ‘Tell those who are invited, “See, I have prepared my dinner, my oxen and my fat calves have been slaughtered, and everything is ready. Come to the wedding feast.”’ But they paid no attention and went off, one to his farm, another to his business, while the rest seized his servants, treated them shamefully, and killed them. The king was angry, and he sent his troops and destroyed those murderers and burned their city. Then he said to his servants, ‘The wedding feast is ready, but those invited were not worthy. Go therefore to the main roads and invite to the wedding feast as many as you find.’ 10 And those servants went out into the roads and gathered all whom they found, both bad and good. So the wedding hall was filled with guests.

11 “But when the king came in to look at the guests, he saw there a man who had no wedding garment. 12 And he said to him, ‘Friend, how did you get in here without a wedding garment?’ And he was speechless. 13 Then the king said to the attendants, ‘Bind him hand and foot and cast him into the outer darkness. In that place there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth.’ 14 For many are called, but few are chosen.”

To understand the prophetic significance of this parable, one must understand that there is more than one true prophetic interpretation. There are patterns that repeat in his Word. The prophecies of Haggai were immediately concerning the rebuilding of the 2nd physical temple of God in Jerusalem, but they also apply in the spiritual to the spiritual temple of the church of the book of Acts. The glory of the spiritual temple of the First Day Church exceeded the glory of the 2nd temple of Jerusalem that it replaced. There is a spiritual interpretation, and a physical interpretation. Both are correct.

Job 33:14 (KJV)

14 For God speaketh once, yea twice, yet man perceiveth it not.

In addition, Haggai 2 is being spiritually fulfilled by the building of the Third Day Church, the spiritual temple whose glory will be greater than the former’s (the Book of Acts Church). The prophetic pattern repeats in the spiritual.

Circling back to Matthew 22’s parable, there is a fulfillment of the parable in the first century rejection of Jesus by many of those first invited to the wedding feast. These are the Jews that did not believe Him and rejected the invitation of salvation in Messiah Yeshua (Jesus). Romans explains that because of their disobedience, the invitation that they rejected was then sent out to the highways and byways, to the gentiles who were not at first invited, so that the wedding feast may be filled with guests. Clearly this is a true interpretation of the parable. Romans 11 explains that there had been a hardening of the hearts (of Israel) in part until the full number of gentile elect come in, and that eventually, all Israel will be saved. The natural branches who were cut off so that gentiles could be grafted in will eventually be grafted back in again. Matthew 22 doesn’t tell that part of the story, but focuses only on the fact that those not initially chosen will be invited to the Wedding Feast to fill the vacant seats made vacant by the rejections of the first invitees.

Another interpretation of Matthew 22 that the Holy Spirit has given me is a reference to our current time and season. We are living in the Third Day, the day of Jesus’s return and millennial reign. The Father is preparing a wedding feast for his Son. The Bride is making herself ready under the careful protection of the friends of the Bridegroom, who are also the Bride’s older siblings (Song of Solomon).

In this frame of reference, those who are first invited are those who served in the Second Day Church systems, which are only types, or shadows of what was to come (the Third Day Church). Those who refused to heed the call to join Jesus in the Holy of Holies, will be replaced by those who will now be invited to take their place. These inexperienced Sons and Daughters will have no ties to false religious systems holding them back, but they will lack experience and knowledge that comes from a lifetime of service.

The devil will try to infiltrate the parable’s Wedding Feast with those who will try to introduce dead religious practices, such as credentialism, into their midst. These people will be found without wedding garments, as they will be wretched, pitiable, poor, blind, and naked. They will bound hand and foot and cast out into outer darkness where there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth.

Credentialism is defined as:

n. belief in or reliance on academic or other formal qualifications as the best measure of a person’s intelligence or ability to do a particular job.

Man, not God, created credentials as a substitute for discernment and divine revelation. The only credential that matters is the commission of the Holy Spirit. It is whether or not God commissioned someone to service, and to an office, if they hold one, whether it be Apostle, Prophet, Evangelist, or Pastor/Teacher. Those who don’t have a relationship with the Holy Spirit could not discern who was appointed by the Holy Spirit to service. They created their own religious systems to make that determination. Even to this day, so-called Spirit-filled religious denominations continue this practice, and surrender control and authority of their religious organization to deceiving religious spirits. The power of God will not manifest in their midst in fullness. The greater works revival will not spring forth in their midst.

My hope that they will be provoked to jealousy when they see the power of God made manifest outside of their camp and on the mountaintop and that they will seek to lay down their sinful baggage and join us. I believe some will. I believe many of them hunger and thirst for righteousness, but are confused and trapped in ignorance. Our job is to seek the Lord Jesus diligently, and do His will fervently, and walk in the Resurrection Power He promised so that when they see the Greater Works revival first-hand, they may repent and join our ranks.

The Holy Spirit wants me to clarify. A few weeks ago, I watched a Sid Roth video (It’s Supernatural YouTube channel). The guest speaker was someone with Jewish roots that was not raised Jewish. He testified that a Messianic Jewish Rabbi told him that he felt in the Spirit that the Jewish man should be ordained as a Rabbi. I presume that the rabbinical ordination allowed him to be accepted by unsaved Jews as a teacher which opened the door for him to evangelize to them. This prophetically parallels how Timothy had to be circumcised so that he could evangelize to the Jews that would otherwise reject him for not being obedient to the law. The Holy Spirit and Paul were clear: circumcision is nothing. That Messianic Rabbi’s rabbinical credentials are nothing, but due to the hardness of men’s hearts, and the Lord’s desire to reach the lost, he called these servants to take those measures to reach stubborn lost souls.

On the other hand, I have been specifically commanded by God to never to accept an ordination or credential of any kind. Though others may, to reach the lost whose hearts are hardened, I have been called to set an example, and to reject any ordination except the Holy Spirit’s. This may close doors, but God will raise up others like the Apostle Paul that have all of the accolades that appeal to the flesh. They will have the accolades that are esteemed by the world to reach those of weak conscience. They will be able to open those doors and call those trapped inside to repentance.

This prohibition on sinning by taking dead religious credentials applies not just to me, but to the majority of us in the Army of Fools. We are the rule patterned after the working class fisherman, and not the exceptions, patterned after the Apostle Paul.

Azusa Street Revival

The Holy Spirit wanted me to share a more modern parallel to what he is doing at this hour with his Remnant. I am a spiritual descendant of the Azusa Street revival of 1906-1909. That revival, as I am told by my biological father, spread the baptism of the Holy Spirit to Hawaii. Hawaiians of Puerto Rican descent along with other Spirit-filled evangelists, spread it to Puerto Rico. Generations later, I was baptized by the Holy Spirit in a Pentecostal church that is a descendant of the movement that began at Azusa Street in Los Angeles, California.

But why Azusa Street? Why did that move of the Holy Spirit not die out? It’s still alive to this day. How long did it take for the Quakers to stop quaking under the Power of the Holy Spirit? How many other moves of God came and went and died down after years or decades? I’m not a historian, and I’m asking these questions rhetorically, but I think the answers are worth knowing. I may have some partial insight that I will share here.

William Seymour, who led the Asuza Street revival, was an African-American man who had seen the baptism of the Holy Spirit and the gift of speaking in tongues in Charles Parham’s ministry in Houston in the early 1900s, but due to Jim Crow era laws, he was not permitted to sit inside Parham’s Bible school. Seymour had to sit outside the door within earshot and listen due to segregation laws. Make no mistake, Christ is not divided, and the conditions in Houston under Jim Crow era segregation made it unfit to be the site to start worldwide revival. The Holy Spirit found a more fitting place and more fitting conditions to spark that worldwide fire.

William Seymour relocated to Los Angeles, California where he led the Asuza Street revival which caused the outpouring the Holy Spirit that is still going to this day. In Los Angeles, black and white Christians congregated together to seek the Baptism of the Holy Spirit and the gifts that accompanied it including speaking in tongues. It was under that desegregated environment, which is type of the unified last days Body of Christ (or Army of Fools, or Remnant Bride, or Man-Child, etc.) that the Holy Spirit chose to pour out his Spirit and spark a worldwide revival. This parallels what the Holy Spirit will do in this latter day. He calls us to separate from the ministries that are shackled by spiritual “Jim Crow Laws” that are burdened by divisive dead religious works including Second Day factions of denominationalism, and the credentials they bestow that are a counterfeit of the commission of the Holy Spirit, the only credential of service that matters.

In the Army of Fools:

Galatians 3:28 (ESV)

28 There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither slave[a] nor free, there is no male and female, for you are all one in Christ Jesus.

And the outpouring of the anointing to perform greater works will be given only to those who are part of that unified Body, and to no other. Those that try to work within the Body to introduce religious systems of division will be cast into outer darkness where there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth.

The Disappearing Donut and Two Healing Testimonies

I shared a word 22 years ago called The Judgment of America. It is posted on this site linked here.

I feel led by the Holy Spirit to share the testimony of the disappearing donut that occurred in 2003 and that appeared in that post. In early March 2003, the Lord performed a miracle and made a half-eaten donut disappear from my wife’s hand. Here is what I wrote in 2003:

I left late for work because I felt the anointing to prophesy and God had me deliver a personal message to someone that I know. Even though I left for work late, I encountered light traffic and still arrived at my job 5 minutes early. I called my wife to tell her the good news. This is where the story takes over from my wife perspective.

She was sitting at the computer in my bedroom when her cell phone rang. The cell phone was about 4 feet away on the night stand. My daughter had just handed her a half-eaten donut. My wife was holding it in her left hand. She had just taken one nibble when the phone rang. She was sitting in a chair and when she went to get up to pick up the phone she was suddenly knocked out of the chair onto the floor! The chair also tipped over. She did not get hurt, and as she describes it, it was like she was falling into air! She picked up her cell phone and listened to me tell her to good news. After she hung up the phone, she went looking for the donut that she thought she had dropped when she fell, but she could not find it anywhere! She began to cry and worship God because she had just experienced a miracle! She searched the entire room and it had just vanished without a trace!

We never did find that donut. It didn’t show up years later stuck behind the headboard of the bed hardened like petrified wood. It had truly vanished. A few weeks later, God gave me the interpretation of that sign.

“Just as the donut disappeared from your hand, so will cancer and AIDS disappear when you lay on hands in my name.  Just as the donut suddenly vanished without a trace, so will missing limbs suddenly appear!  The dead will be raised, and not just with the laying on of hands, but also with the spoken word.”

I repeat that testimony today in obedience to the Holy Spirit.

The Healing of My Daughter’s Finger

I’m not certain if I ever shared this testimony before, but the Lord is calling me to share it now. When my oldest daughter was an infant 25 years ago, and approx. 10 months old, I pinched one of her fingers in the front door of our apartment. I was leaving the apartment. She had stuck her finger in the door frame on the side where the door hinges are. I did not notice she was there. I attempted to close the door and something prevented it from closing all the way so I tried again a second time, but this time with a little more force, and the door still couldn’t close.

Puzzled, I opened the door and walked back inside the apartment. I found my daughter standing in the baby walker by the door with her finger on the door frame. She was in so much pain that she could not yet audibly cry, but her facial expression showed how badly she was hurt. Her fingertip was crushed. It was flattened and brown, but blood had not burst through the skin.

My wife and I started screaming in tongues and crying out to God in our hearts. Making a ruckus the whole neighborhood could hear, we gathered our belongings and dashed with her outside to our car to drive immediately to the hospital. However, when we were in the car, I in the driver’s seat, and my wife seated with my daughter in the back, my wife noticed that my daughter’s finger was perfectly normal. It was pink and in its normal round shape. There was no trace that it had been crushed in the door jamb. She was completed healed.

We left the car and returned back inside.

I can’t tell you that I was not afraid, and that I had supernatural faith bestowed upon me by God. I was very worried about my daughter and her finger, and grieving that she was suffering so much pain, but while my flesh was weak, my spirit prayed, and so did my wife’s spirit that was in full agreement with mine. The Lord had mercy upon us and despite our fear, he answered our perfect prayers in unknown angelic tongues and healed my daughter’s finger.

Years later, I recall reading another healing testimony that was similar to mine, only the miracle was much greater and the faith of the one who performed it in Jesus Christ’s name was much greater than mine and my wife’s. If I recall the details correctly, it was Henry Gruver. His son had pinched his finger in the heavy fire door that leads to the garage. It was bleeding profusely and attached to his hand only by a bit of skin. Henry cupped his son’s hand in his own and prayed “The Blood of Jesus” over and over again and watched Jesus reattach the finger back to his son’s hand and completely heal it.

I may have lacked Henry’s faith, but to God be the glory, not man. We both prayed to the same God who forgives all sins and heals all diseases in the name of His Son Jesus Christ.

The Healing of My Finger

It was about 2 years after the Lord healed my daughter’s finger that the Lord healed mine. I know I wrote about this at least 2 times before, but the Lord told me to repeat it again here. If any details differ from my earlier recollection, the earlier details are correct, but it’s a short testimony and I’ve never forgotten it.

I used to have a job that required me to perform continuous data entry at a fast rate. My right hand, in particular, had to type on a numeric pad for hours at a time with short ergonomic breaks every hour. My right index finger was the most used finger on my hands and performed the most key presses. One day, while typing at work, I started feeling a sharp pain in my right index finger every time I tried to type with it. It was painful and made me upset. I thought, “Oh great, how I am supposed to make a living and support my family if I can’t even type?”

A little while later, I felt the presence of God manifest. I felt a heat on my finger which I had felt before when I had been miraculously healed. All of the pain in my finger disappeared. When I realized what had happened, I felt the grief of the Holy Spirit which to this day brings me nearly to tears when I think about it. The Holy Spirit spoke to me inaudibly in my spirit and said, “If I can heal your finger, don’t you think that I can take care of all of your needs?” I cried out to God in repentance and asked him for forgiveness.

I had not been standing in faith and pleasing God. I had not asked to be healed. The thought hadn’t occurred to me. I was still focused on the problem and on my pain and frustration, but the Lord was so gracious to me that he still healed me. Though my state of mind grieved Him, He held is proverbial nose and healed me anyway.

Jesus Christ is not an unintelligent force that you can manipulate. He is not a symbol of creative visualization to manifest changes to reality in the “simulation.” He is not a system of rules. He is the living and personal God of all creation that you can have a personal relationship with who will at times appear to doubting Thomas’s and let them feel His hands and the wound in His side. He will look around angrily at an unbelieving crowd and still heal the shriveled arm of a man in their midst. He will still appear on the road to Damascus to arch-persecutors of his people and save their souls from destruction-and then use them for His glory! Selah.

He will still make wise the simple who chose to follow his ways, and still make us fishers of men. And through us “foolish things” who have picked up the Cross, we Army of Fools, he will perform great signs and wonders in this latter day so that no one may boast other than in God alone.

Jesus Christ is my first love, my shield and my great reward.

In Christ,

Dan
His Fool
