Starting a Relationship With the Lord

Years ago I read a story about St Patrick and his life… early in his walk he decided to pray to the Lord one hundred times a day… I had been seeking a way to grow closer to the Lord myself and desired to grow as close as I could I spoke with the Lord and asked to pray with Him a hundred times a day… next day I started counting as I prayed but at some point I lost count and the prayers became simple conversation as you would a best friend and Father… it became naturel… just everything I saw or thought.. questions or laughing… but it was in the end that we became closer… allow me to speak this into you… a remembrance of scripture… and why this is so important now today to this…
Matthew 24:36
“But of that day and hour no one knows, not even the angels of heaven, but My Father only.
Matthew 7:23
23 And then I will declare to them, ‘I never knew you; depart from Me,
Matthew 25
11Later the other virgins arrived and said, ‘Lord, lord, open the door for us!’
12But he replied, ‘Truly I tell you, I do not know you.’
13Therefore keep watch, because you do not know the day or the hour.
What this says is do not delay in starting a relationship with the Lord for the time draws close…
