Why We Celebrate the Feasts of the Lord

Why we celebrate the Feasts of the Lord

I was asked this question and it was to all that the answer was given by the Holy Spirit yet it was a addressed to my aunt and my sister in Christ…

I celebrate all that is Gods, we accept the Word of God as Truth all of it yes? we are told that the Word was made Flesh and that was Jesus Yes? so the whole Bible from front to back old and new is who Jesus is… as it is all the Word of God…

(See Romans 11:24) We are the grafted branch meaning we were grafted into the Tree that was chosen… to bring light to the world and God never lies or makes mistakes… His promises are still valid today the same as they were since Creation… it is through Christ we are grafted in and one of the commandment and he said Exodus 14 “‘And this day shall be unto you for a memorial, and ye shall keep it a feast to the Lord throughout your generations; ye shall keep it a feast by an ordinance forever… God commands Moses, “Speak unto the children of Israel, and say unto them, Concerning the feasts of Yahweh, which you shall proclaim to be holy convocations, even these are my feasts” (Lev. 23:2)

What this means is that the feasts do not belong to anyone but God… He is asking us to honor Him by remembering and following them… does this make us Jewish no… but we are the wild Olive branch that was saved and grafted onto the Jewish tree…  Remember Jesus is Jewish he taught as a Rabbi  and was called such…   When Christ died for all mankind the veil in the Temple was torn from top to bottom by an earthquake at the moment of His death… we were given access to God through Christ… we are given Understanding and Knowledge and Wisdom to know who our God is and who our savior is… it is from the moment of creation God desired you should now Him through His Son… and the Feasts all tell of Jesus…  each one has a timing that has been important…  in the feasts we see Gods time table for what He is doing and about to do…

No fewer than four times in Leviticus 23… after mentioning the various Feasts…Yahweh (one of the names of God and each one has an important meaning for us to understand) declares the Feasts “a statute forever.” If these days were important only in the lives of ancient Israelites, then why do we find them prominent in prophecy of the coming Kingdom? Isaiah deals with the Millennial Kingdom. We find there that when His Kingdom comes to earth, everyone will come to keep Yahweh’s appointed times: “And it shall come to pass, that from one new moon to another, and from Sabbath to another, shall all flesh come to worship before me, says Yahweh” (Isa. 66:23).

“And it shall come to pass, that every one that is left of all the nations which came against Jerusalem shall even go up from year to year to worship the King, Yahweh of hosts, and to keep the feast of tabernacles. And it shall be, that whoso will not come up of all the families of the earth unto Jerusalem to worship the King, Yahweh of hosts, even upon them shall be no rain. And if the family of Egypt go not up, and come not, that have no rain; there shall be the plague, wherewith Yahweh will smite the heathen that come not up to keep the feast of tabernacles” (Zech. 14:16-18).

Last one and here is your new testament key… Acts 18:21  but (Paul) bade them farewell, saying, “I must by all means keep this feast”

Meaning the feasts are to everyone Jew and non-Jew do you see this? The church of man has removed the feasts, changed the Sabbath and told us so little to keep us in the dark, to feed them, to keep us dumb little sheep…  they do so to keep power unto themselves… and keep the money machine running… my dear Aunt the time is here in which the money changing tables will once again be over turned and those claim to be of God will be judged to be of or not… remember we have a Bride and ten brides maids and the friends of the Groom… who are these… the Bride is those who follow Christ with all their heart… all their love and desire Him above all else… she waits at the window with her candle (the Holy Spirit) for her Groom to take her… she is patent for she does not run to and fro…  she sits and waits for Him alone… the bridesmaids are not watching for Him and the Bride tells them and they then prepare….  the 5 wise with oil in their lamps (the Holy Spirit) meaning they had prepared themselves in advance for this but were not the Bride for they did not love the king as she did… and the 5 foolish bridesmaids who did not have any oil (no Holy Spirit) meaning it was of no interest to them to know who their King and God is… they had no fellowship with Him, so no Holy Spirit was invited in and they had no oil…

The Friends of the Groom are those who walk with the King these are like King David’s mighty men but even more as they listen to the King and are at His side… Yet it is the Bride whose honor it is that all creation was created for her to be His at this moment… everything that was done… every act…  every breath of God was to this moment… for this purpose… it is why God created us in His image so His wife would look like Him and she was given free will so it was by her choice that she would love and serve and be faithful to her Husband… the feasts are a timeline and we will see the return of Christ even the resurrection during the feasts… I walk with my King and I also watch for His return as I miss Him terribly for none can fill this place in my heart I have for Him…

In Kings Love

David
